We would like to express our huge thanks to Arts Council England, for their generous support of the orchestra through the Culture Recovery Fund.
The funding is quite simply transformative for LCO. Thanks to this support we can continue to bring together the very best professional freelance musicians to share music with our audiences, both in the concert hall and online. The funding also helps to safeguard the continuation of Music Junction, our vitally important outreach programme working with vulnerable young people.
The Culture Recovery Fund is part of the government’s pledge to be #HereForCulture, through offering an unprecedented amount of funding for the cultural sector, following the challenges of coronavirus.
We believe that everybody should have the opportunity to access cultural experiences. After recently celebrating our Centenary, we are incredibly proud to receive support from Arts Council England, working together to ensure we can continue to survive and thrive for another 100 years.
