Discover more about LCO
The London Chamber Orchestra has been redefining orchestral music in the UK for over a century. Our musicians, soloists, and composers create unforgettable experiences, inspiring and captivating audiences. But we’re more than just an orchestra.
Founded by Anthony Bernard in 1921, the London Chamber Orchestra (LCO) stands as the United Kingdom’s first professional chamber orchestra. In May 2025 it opened a new chapter with an evening at The Boltons.
Over the past 100 years, LCO has established itself as one of the most inclusive and captivating musical organisations in the country, with a strong commitment to promoting new musical voices and commissioning groundbreaking compositions.
