100 Years of Turkish Republic Concert

This October marks the centenary of the Turkish Republic. We’re looking forward to performing at a special event organised by the Yunus Emre Institute celebrating the past and the future: 100 Years of Turkish Republic Concert & World Premiere of Yalçın Tura’s Piano Concerto.

The concert will showcase the world premiere of the distinguished Turkish composer Yalçın Tura’s latest piano concerto, with soloist Pınar Çelik Warsi. Tura’s son, the composer and Principal Conductor of the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Hasan Niyazi Tura, conducts.
