Did you know that our Music Junction programme has inspired thousands of vulnerable, disabled and excluded children with free musical tuition, mentoring and performance opportunities at LCO concerts? Every year, we hear from teachers, parents and young people about how special the programme makes them feel, how much their self belief has grown through shared musical experiences.

Music junction has been central to LCO’s work for the past 10 years and will be featured in a beautiful new book celebrating LCO’s Centenary, written by celebrated music writer Jessica Duchen, with a foreword by our Patron, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall. This promises to be a very special publication and we are delighted to be able to include the names of generous Music Junction supporters in the book. This is available for all donations over £50 made by 30th April 2022.
Every donor who gives £50, will directly help to support the costs of free instruments for children to play. Each donor will receive a signed first edition and their name in the book.
Every donor who gives £100 and above, will help to support the costs of bringing LCO’s top musicians into schools. Each supporter at this level will receive a signed first edition, acknowledgement in the book and 1 year of free LCO membership, which includes 2 free tickets to an LCO concert of your choice, priority booking, offers and invitations to special events.
For donors who would like to make a truly significant impact and support the costs of providing Music Junction activities to a new school by making a gift of £2,500 and above, we would be delighted to arrange a private recital and book reading in your own home.
All of our Music Junction supporters will also be invited to our exclusive book launch event in the autumn.
