It’s at this point in the year that we would normally be travelling around London, visiting schools and surprising pupils with our flashmobs to kick start our educational outreach programme, Music Junction. Although this isn’t possible this year, restrictions won’t stop up spreading the music!
Instead, we are bringing music to our Music Junction participants, recording an interactive performance with music all linking to our theme this year, space. We’ve recorded Holst, The Planets and a snippet of this year’s specially composed Music Junction piece, The Exciting Marvellous Mars by Cheryl Frances-Hoad. It has been so exciting recording with all of our LCO musicians and we cannot wait to showcase our video to all of our MJ schools!
