Why Support Us?
Since our foundation in 1921, LCO has been wholly independent of public subsidy. Ticket sales – even from sell-out concerts – only cover a proportion of our costs, and we therefore rely on private and corporate philanthropy to allow us to realise our vision and mission.
As we power towards our centenary year with renewed energy and vigour, we look forward to building new relationships with enlightened individuals and companies, who are equally passionate about delivering not only a world-class concert season in London and beyond, but also about developing and expanding our vital and ground-breaking community and outreach programme.
SUPPORT AS AN INDIVIDUAL
Join as an LCO Supporter from £25 per month, sponsor an Orchestra Chair or even invest in a specific element of our work in the community – there are many ways in which to get involved. In return we will give you unprecedented access to the orchestra, along with a range of benefits, which totally meet your specific requirements.
SUPPORT AS A BUSINESS
With corporate packages starting from £2,500 per annum, this is your opportunity to align your brand with performance excellence, and to receive high-profile recognition, advertising and promotional opportunities, complimentary tickets, priority booking and hospitality benefits. “Your continued support is vital to both our performances and to our future. I would like to extend my thanks to all our supporters and to our cherished LCO musicians; together we endeavour to create exciting and inspiring performances. It is this alchemy of support and passion for performance, which makes LCO one of the most distinctive orchestras in the world.”
It is no understatement when we say that the LCO would not exist without the generosity and commitment of our friends and supporters, past and present. We owe you all a huge debt of gratitude, and sincerely hope that you will continue with us on the exciting journey ahead, and look forward to welcoming you as members of our revitalised LCO family for many years to come.

LCO has undergone a transformation over the past two years – with a new management team and a newly redefined vision and mission to “Educate, Empower and Entertain”.
Artistically, we are going from strength to strength, and have bold plans for the future, which include:
- Doubling the number of annual season concerts by 2021;
- Bringing LCO to new audiences through regional and international touring;
- Providing London debuts to exciting new artists;
- Extending our education and outreach programme, LCO Music Junction.
Through our Annual Appeal we aim to raise an additional £100,000 every year to help make these ambitions a reality.
LCO does not receive any public funding. The income we generate from ticket sales and commercial engagements only covers a proportion of our costs. Our long-term survival and growth depend on corporate and private philanthropy.
Every contribution makes a difference. From underwriting an element of our outreach work, to supporting a specific orchestra chair, to sponsoring a concert in aid of your favourite charity, there are many ways in which you can help.
For an informal discussion on how you can support our Annual Appeal, please call Andrew in the LCO Development office on 020 3397 984, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or click the donate button below.
