The GLA's Festival EAST, championing the best of East London, opens with a performance of Mauricio Kagel's 'Eine Brise' (A Breeze) for 111 bicycles this coming Thursday, March 5th, over at Spitalfields Market.

Rehearsals will start at 8am and two short performances follow between 9.30am and 10am . LCO musicians will mentor the groups of cyclists prior to this pedal power performance, which Kagel described as 'a musically enriched outdoor sports event'.
