LCO announce new Patron

The London Chamber Orchestra are proud to announce that Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall is to become their first Patron.

LCO and Principal Conductor Christopher Warren-Green honoured their new Patron at the opening concert of their 05/06 Season at St. John's, Smith Square on Wednesday 28th September.

Included in the programme were Grieg's Two Elegiac Melodies, which LCO performed earlier this year, in the presence of HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, as a special gift to mark her engagement to HRH The Prince of Wales.

It is particularly fitting that Her Royal Highness has accepted this invitation to become Patron, since Christopher Warren-Green enjoys a long-standing association with The Prince of Wales and conducted the music at the royal wedding earlier this year.
